Royal Alice's Boy, affectionately known as "AB", is
nearly as well known as his sire, Royal Red Viking.
AB has sired 42 foals as of 2003 that are registered
with the American Shetland Pony Club. His impact
on the Classic American Shetland has been
significant and he has also had an impact on the
AMHR through several offspring who are double
registered including Royal Amathyst Crystal and
Royal Firecracker.
AB's get have excelled in both the ASPC and the
AMHR. Royal Amathyst Crystal topped AMHR B
division halter classes as a youngster. Royal
Firecracker was the 2000 Shetland Congress Classic
Model Stallion 46 inches and under. AB also sired
Hall of Fame mare Royal Lacey Lady. Lacy Lady was
also the 1995 Classic Pony of the Year. Another well
known show pony sired by AB is Royal Ouija.
